The workshop was jointly organized by the Department of Labour, Ministry of Labour and Employment (DoL/MoLE) with Employment Service Centre (ESC), District Labour Office in Pokhara and ILO.
The specific objectives of the workshop were to:
• share experiences, lessons learnt and best practices on Labour Market Information (LMI) and employment services
• discuss briefly on needs of Employment Service Centre
• collect innovative ideas and concepts in improving the quality of employment services
With financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the ILO is providing technical assistance to the government to improve overall quality of employment services through public Employment Service Centres (ESCs).
